Ready to Get Involved?

Join us for the Inaugural Kickoff of the Hampton Roads Juneteenth FreedomFest.  Due to space limitations, we are offering this wonderful opportunity to the first 25 Vendors that secure their Vendor Space.  If interested, please fill out the Vendor Application below.  Vendors will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.  


 

Our 757 Juneteenth FreedomFest not only gives honor to our past, but it is also designed to bring foresight by way of education and community enhancement to our everyday lives.  Whether that be at a workshop during the festival or a gained network connection.  This year the 757 FreedomFest will honor the Juneteenth festivities at the Kenny Easley BallPark in Chesapeake Va. Join us as we kick off our "family-reunion vibes filled with games, food, and fun.  


The 757 FreedomFest was started to spotlight and celebrate our history, memorialize its ending, and cultivate a new narrative for our futures.  It is also our intent to not only educate but to elevate and empower one another.  Understanding where we have been as a people can assist in where we ultimately want to go in our individual futures.  It is our hope and intent that this Festival will act as a 'royal roadmap' that serves as a guiding principle in our communities.  Join us for a celebration of the African American journey and those who gave their lives for our freedoms.


The 757FreedomFest will commence on  June 18th, 2022.  It will be held at the Kenny Easley Ball Park/McNeil Park in Chesapeake VA. Festival registration will open at 10 am. Vendor Set-Up will begin at 8:00 a.m.  The festival will feature activities to include guest speakers, pop-up workshops, local entertainment, small business vendors, Kid Zone, and more.  We’re inviting vendors to participate and help make the 757 Juneteenth FreedomFest an outrageously successful event for our community!

Vendor information and general policies

When completing your application, please include a DAYTIME telephone number where you can be reached

GENERAL POLICIES 

When completing your application, please include a DAYTIME number where you can be reached before the event. Also, please include a MOBILE number where you can be reached during the event. Please describe all of the items you intend to sell and, please be as detailed as possible in your description.


Single booth space is a 10’ X 10’ Free-Standing Tent, and the fees range between $75.00 - $175.  Shared Tents consists of two vendor companies, each required to pay the fee of $75. each.   For a Single Tent, the vendor price is $125.00.  No food sales are permitted in the 10' x 10' spaces unless otherwise stated and cleared with the proper insurance documentation.  Food Trucks are permissible for this event.  


Child Vendors where the CEO/Founder is less than age 17 and under will be in our "Mini MillionHeirs" Vendor Tent.  The vendor fee for the joint tent is reduced to $60 per young business.  (Limit 8-10 Vendors)  No food sales are permitted in the Mini MillionHeirs joint tent.  


Fees are NOT required to complete your application. Your application will not be processed until after notification that you have been selected for the festival.  Once the online registration form is submitted in its entirety, you will be contacted by our team in December to confirm the details and submit the full payment.  Vendors will start to be chosen on 15 February 2022, payments will then be due to secure your space.  

  1. Please include photographs and detailed descriptions of your Vendor Set Up. Photos can also be emailed to director@757freedomfest.org  | Include in the subject line:  Vendor Booth Pictures
  2. After you are notified of acceptance and your space has been reserved, no refunds will be made if you cancel for any reason. Once your funds have been received, you are considered to be “officially” accepted into the festival and the “no refund” policy will apply. Deposits and Fees are accepted as a 'reservation' fee.  
  3. All Vendors must occupy the space provided and specified by the Festival. At NO TIME shall a Vendor erect signage that blocks the view of other Vendors.  All Signage must be affixed INSIDE the tent area.  The Vendor Coordinator and the team will manage all space assignments. 
  4. Individual Tent Exhibitors may bring additional tables, chairs, and signage for their assigned tent area.  Shared tents must use the assigned space, table, and chairs that came with their package.  All vendor areas will be inspected for safety prior to the opening of the event.  Vendors are expected to be fully set up no later than 10:30 am.  
  5. A designated number of 10’ X 10’ spaces will be available on the lawn for all non-profit and informational vendors Please contact us to discuss your desires and check space availability.
  6. Vendors are personally responsible for the collection, reporting and remittance of sales tax as required by the Virginia Department of Revenue. The Festival assumes no responsibility regarding the collection, reporting and/or remittance of sale tax for sales by vendors.
  7. Applications will be accepted through March 15, 2021, or until all spaces have been filled.


Vendor Check-In Information: 


All Vendors are required to Check-In at the VENDOR CHECK-IN Station located at the Market Place Pavilion directly near Parking Lot B.  

  • Saturday:  Vendor area available for setup from 9:30 AM through 11:30 AM.  All vendors are required to remain until 6:00 pm.  All vendors have the option of staying until the event ends at 7:00 pm if desired. 
  • Upon check-in, Vendors will receive a Vendor Map to assist in locating their vendor tent.  
  • No Vehicles are allowed on park grounds.  Please bring carts for transporting merchandise from your vehicles to your assigned space.  
  • Vendors should be completely packed up no later than 7:30 pm.  This option corresponds to the vendors that stay past the 6 pm timeframe.
  • Vendor Tents must be occupied at ALL times during the Festival.  The 757 Freedomfest is not liable for merchandise sold by the Vendors.

**Moving materials to/from your vendor space between the above load-in and load-out times, you will need to do so by hand or with the aid of a small hand truck or cart.**
